My name is Ria and I’m the owner of Hexes and Honey Tattoo Studio in Seekonk MA! And I would love to be your new favorite tattoo shop. I’ve always seen myself as spooky but sweet and so the shop name was born. My tattoo career began in 2019 following my formal bachelors in painting at mass college of art and design. I’ve always had a passsion for the dark but beautiful and feminine and I feel my style reflects that. I specialize in all things black and grey whether it’s realism, illustrative, or fine line however I can absolutely work in color as well! When I’m not tattooing you can likely find me cuddled up with a good book and my cats. My goal is to create a safe space everyone can get tattooed in as well as laid back environment. I hope we can collab on something awesome! I’ve always said what else could you possibly treat yourself to that’s permanent!?

Hello, I’m Shawn Ryan.

While attending the Art Institute of Dallas, friends kept telling me I should get into tattooing. By 1993, I left school and started my tattoo journey. I began in Dallas, Texas, during a time when traditional tattooing and what became known as a Texas style were really taking shape.

From there, I moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where realism was king. Over the years, working in different places allowed me to explore a variety of styles and grow as a well-rounded artist. I’ve always believed there’s more to learn, no matter how long you’ve been doing this.

About nine years ago, I made my way to Massachusetts, where I continue to tattoo, draw, and create. When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my wife and kids, playing hockey, or skateboarding — something that’s always been close to my heart and still fuels my drive, even at my age.

I want your tattoo experience to be fun and collaborative. I believe the best tattoos come from working together, and I want you to be part of the process so we can create something you’ll truly love.
